Stephen Sommers (Director): Unlike most other sequels, the entire original cast return eager to reprise their roles. Stephen Sommers: The key is to first get the cast back, and that' what I felt really good about. 'Cause Brenda, and Rachel, and myself we all agreed let's not do there sequel unless it's gonna to be better. Brendan Fraser (Actor in a leading role): The Mummy is the love character and it's being well treated and I think the appeal really shows and people really care about it. Rachel Weisz (Actress in a leading role): Stephen would always said when we were doing the first one said if we do a sequel. I would only want to do it, if we could make it different. John Berion Jr. (Visual Effects Supervisor - 1)ILM): What would really be happening here and how do we no create part of that using a visual effects and part using photography so that everything looks like it's all happening at the same time. Arnold Vosloo (As Imhotep): It is tricky. I mean it is difficult it's simply because you are reacting to something that you think you can imagine that of course ILM is far more warped than yours can ever hope to be. John Berion Jr.: It's always a big challenge it's making sure what you do and no matter how spectacular it is, people aren't coming out of the theatre thinking the effects were great but missing the movie. Oded Fehr (As Ardeth Bey): Everything that they love in the first one, they will see on this one is well, and more. John Hannah (As Jonathan): The stunts are bigger, the whole concept is, the whole concept is bigger. Arnold Vosloo: Having things more urgent bigger and better.
